One of the most exciting days for any startup founder is the day you start hiring people. Yesterday we hired our very first contractor at Rêve Health, and it marks an incredible new beginning.

Maddy and I cannot wait to build out an entire team of wellness coaches someday.

We’ve been very methodical about whom we are working with. We have strategic alliance collaborators who are aligned with our values such as Vos Fitness, who fit into our model of proactive, holistic wellness.

Today we introduced our new nutrition coach, Skylar Weir, MS, RDN. Let’s learn more about her!

Introducing Skylar Weir, MS, RDN

“As a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), I believe we all deserve access to credible, sound, and unbiased nutrition information and resources. I’ve made it my mission to be a guiding source of hope and positivity amongst the confusion and often stressful landscape that exists within the nutrition space,“ says Skylar.

This philosophy, and the optimism around food and nourishment, is one of the many reasons we knew Skylar was right for The Rêve Health team.

Another reason is her personalized approach. At Rêve Health, we value the uniqueness of YOU above all. It’s why our protocols require in-depth intake forms and an understanding of who you are and how you live your life.

As Skylar says, “When I work with clients on their nutrition, I’m never giving surface level, one-size fits all recommendations because we are all different. Sure, there are common strategies I discuss with everyone, but I’m always taking a deep dive on their health history, current relationship with food, lifestyle, habits, food preferences, symptoms, goals, and more so that we can create dietary and lifestyle changes the leave them feeling confident and excited.“

Skylar will be working closely with us to give nutrition guidance based on member lab work. She’ll also be available for 1:1 personalized guidance calls.

Laura LeDuc, MS, CPT, NCPT

Introducing Laura LeDuc, CPT

Laura is the owner of Vos Fitness, a concierge fitness company.

Julie met Laura at her residence, where Vos Fitness provides wellness services, HIIT classes, meditation, and Yoga for the residents. Julie and Laura got to talking about their philosophies on working out, exercise science, Dr. Stacy Sims, and step aerobics.

One of the only times Julie was able to meditate in a group was when Laura led a meditation session!

Over the course of the last 20+ years Laura has studied and trained in multiple disciplines of fitness like Pilates, Barre, traditional strength training, kettlebells and more. She is also a meditation coach! Laura uses her years of experience training and teaching to challenge your body in a way that creates long lasting results. 

Laura’s long-term approach to fitness and health, and her personalized, intelligent methods to challenge her clients make her (and her team) a perfect fit for Rêve Health.

Most of you know I’ve built a few companies. You can’t, as my friend Tom X Lee (founder of One Medical Group) says, “boil the ocean.”

You simply have to climb the mountain, and build a company one step at a time.

Maddy and I met when I was her client, and we remarked on how aligned our philosophies on life are. We’ve been searching for more people who fit into our vision, and growing a team to help as many people as possible live their best lives.

She ran and sold a funded ecommerce wellness retreat company in 2012 and then started a strategy & transformation consultancy serving Fortune 100 clients. She has a Masters degree in Journalism from Northeastern University and a B.A. in English Literature with a Minor in Exercise Science. As a former Journalist, she is an avid researcher and reader.
